Vist to Ingatestone Hall

Some 26 members visited Ingatestone Hall, the
home of Lord Petre, Lord Lieutenant of Essex,
on the 8 July. The Petre family have lived at the
hall since 1540. The hall is mentioned in Simon
Jenkins book, 'England's Thousand Best
Houses'.

If you were unable to join us on, I would
recommend that you pay the hall a visit as soon
as possible. You will not be disappointed.
