A Land fit for Heroes

The two photographs below show a family who were living in a modest hut circa 1920. We know there surname- Hilder and the picture shows a husband, wife and three children, who were named Vivian, Victor and Audrey. The father fought in the Great War,

The photograph was taken on January 28, 1920, outside their canvas hut at Greensted.

I have been unable to date to find any reference to the family in local sources. Sadly we do not know the names of the parents. Why were the pictures taken? Was it for an article on poverty or homelessness?
