Annual General Meeting – 30 March, 2006

Some 43 members attended the Annual General Meeting
held on the 30h March. Unfortunately our speaker booked
for the evening was unwell but thanks to the hard work of our
Chairman a replacement was found at very short notice.
Christopher Heppa who deals in Rare, Antiquarian and
Secondhand Books gave an entertaining and amusing talk
on his experiences.

The subject for our April meeting was the history of Hainault
Forest and the Fairlop Oak, under which was held the Fairlop
Fair on the first Friday in July.
