The Chelmsford Chronicle, 27th July 1832
William Wallis, 21, Daniel Harding, 21, and Daniel Hammond, 20, labourers, were indicted for burglariously entering a store house adjoining the dwelling house of John Shuttleworth at Stapleford Tawney and stealing divers articles, his property, on the 9th June. Stolen some tin ware, two reams of paper and other goods. Sentence: All Guilty – transported for life.
