CHARLES FOSTER has been favored with instructions from the Executors of the late Rev. Dr. Tattam, to SELL BY AUCTION, upon the premises, on Monday and Tuesday, February 24th 25th, 1868, at Eleven for Twelve o'clock each day,
THE remaining HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE and Effects, comprising mahogany four-post, French, and other bedsteads; palliasses, hair and wool mattresses, excellent feather beds and bedding, capital mahogany chests of drawers, chairs, marble-top washstands and toilet sets, toilet tables and glasses, poles and cornices, damask and chintz curtains and hangings, Brussels carpets, Kidderminster ditto, druggets, &c.
Several very Valuable OIL PAINTINGS, a three-feet two telescope (by Newton) on tripod stand with night glasses; very superior microscope (Newton), Herder's condensed galvanic machine, improved magneto electric machine, magic lantern with microscope and slides, 6¾ octave pianoforte, in walnut (Eavestaff), portable harmonium (Keith), capital Turkey carpet, 19 feet 15 feet inches; Brussels and other carpets, hearthrugs, &c, mahogany sideboard, rosewood loo table, couches, sofas, chairs, lounge ditto, cheffoniers, mahogany library, Pembroke, and other tables, bookcases, pier-glasses, gilt cornices and poles, damask curtains, lamps, handsome china dinner and tea services, plated articles, &c, &c.
Very handsome black COB, light town-built carriage, brougham, pony phaeton, spring cart, stump of good meadow hay, garden frames, roller, tools, iron hand-lights quantity of firewood, &c, &c.
First Day's Sale. — All the bedrooms, landings, staircases, study, and breakfast-room.
Second Day. — The scientific apparatus, dining and drawing-room furniture, kitchen and culinary requisites, and out-door effects.
