Extraordinary General Meeting

It has been requested that we hold an Extraordinary General Meeting in order to complete the formalities before the closure of the Group.

Agenda

1. Welcome and apologies for absence.
2. Minutes of the AGM held on Thursday, 26th March 2026 (copy attached).
3. Matters Arising.
4. Approval of the Minutes of the AGM held on Thursday, 26th March 2026

   This is to formally sign off the Minutes of the AGM as this evidence may be required by the Bank to close the account and release any residual funds.

5. Treasurer’s Report – The current position of finances.
6. Approval of funds to set up a legacy website

   Paul Brooks has undertaken to set up a High Country History Group legacy website that will consist of copies of our magazines over the past 26 years plus other information that will then be available to members of the public who wish to visit the website and research information about our area.

   The cost of the website will be circa £300.00 and this expenditure needs approval from the members.

   The motion is: To approve circa £300.00 to set up a High Country History Group legacy website.
