He enlisted at Chelmsford. He died on 31 May 1918 and is buried in
Melcombe Regis Cemetery, Weymouth, Dorset.
According to UK, Soldiers Died in the Great War, 1914–1919,
his residence was recorded as Great Baddow, Chelmsford, and he is shown as
having died “at home”.
He was born circa 1898 in White Colne, Colchester, Essex, the son of
George and Ellen Crisp.
In the 1918 Register of Electors for Greensted, George and Ellen Crisp are
recorded as living at Lodge Farm, Greensted.
He was entitled to the 1914 Star.
